About Us
The High Sierra Diamonds Softball Club (HSD) was formed in June of 1994 and has a long history in Northern Nevada. It has helped many young women achieve their education and softball dreams. Under new leadership HSD with the support of the City of Reno is working hard to create and environment were the Student Athlete can fulfill her commitment to both her education and her team.
Each team involved in HSD is run under the guidelines of the organization and with full support of our board. However each team sets it's goals according to the abilities and aspirations of its members. Each team is operated and competes in the appropriate age, under the name of The Reno Diamonds.
It is the goal of this organization to provide a complete program allowing softball players no matter their long term goals an appropriate environment to learn and develop the skills required to compete at that level. Partnering with Parents, and Schools to insure girls fulfill the necessary requirements to complete their education while pursuing their softball dreams.
We have an indoor facility with full infield and batting tunnels as well as dedicated fields for practice.
